1/17/90.1(LEGAL)Reso2(Vk)JB <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90- 15 <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, DIRECTING COUNTY DEPOSITORIES <br />TO HONOR CERTAIN AUTHORIZED SIGNATURES <br />ON COUNTY WARRANTS AND OTHER ORDERS FOR <br />PAYMENT. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County on January 2, 1990, held an election for the <br />offices of Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Board of County <br />Commissioners; and <br />WHEREAS, the County Commission did nominate and select <br />as Chairman, Carolyn K. Eggert, and as Vice Chairman, <br />Richard N. Bird; and <br />WHEREAS, Jeffrey K. Barton was elected Clerk of the <br />Circuit Court of Indian River County effective December 31, <br />1988, and also serves as a Clerk to the Board of County <br />Commissioners, pursuant to Section 125.167, Florida <br />Statutes; and <br />WHEREAS, it is now necessary to reinstruct the County's <br />depositories as to the signatures necessary to honor County <br />warrants, checks, or other orders for the payment of money <br />drawn in the Commission's name, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: <br />1. The County Commission has in the past designated <br />certain banking institutions as official depositories of <br />County funds, and such designations are hereby ratified and <br />affirmed. <br />2. Each designated depository of the Commission is <br />hereby requested, authorized, and directed to honor checks, <br />warrants, or other orders for the payment of money drawn in <br />the Commission's name, including those payable to the <br />individual orders of any person or persons whose name or <br />names appear thereon, when bearing the facsimile signature <br />of the Clerk of the Circuit Court, when said check, <br />warrants, or other orders for the payment of money equals or <br />does not exceed the sum of three thousand dollars ($3,000). <br />I <br />
