A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />ESTABLISHING THE ACTUAL COST FOR THE LOW PRESSURE <br />GRINDER PUMP SYSTEM FOR THE ROCKRIDGE AREA SANITARY <br />SEWER SYSTEM (E.P.A. PROJECT C-120502060) <br />DESIGNATED AS PROJECT US -08 -CCS TO BE PAID BY THE <br />SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS WITH REGARD THERETO; GIVING <br />CERTAIN CREDITS AGAINST SAID SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS; <br />PROVIDING FOR THE PAYMENT OF SAID SPECIAL <br />ASSESSMENTS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida <br />(the "Board"), by Resolution No. 88-100, adopted on October 11, 1988, determined <br />to make special assessments in connection with the low pressure grinder pump <br />system to be installed in approximately 404 properties designated on the <br />assessment plat with respect to the special assessments; <br />WHEREAS, said Resolution described said improvements, designated the <br />location of the improvements to be constructed, the part or portion of the <br />estimated cost thereof to be paid by special assessments ($282,800), the number <br />properties to be specially assessed (404) ($700 per property), the manner in <br />which said special assessments are to be made, and how said special assessments <br />are to be paid; <br />WHEREAS, the Board, by Resolution No. 88-101, adopted on'October 11, 1988, <br />set the time and place for a public hearing at which the owners of the properties <br />to be assessed and other interested persons would have a chance to be heard <br />concerning the propriety and advisability of the improvements and the <br />assessments, and for the Board to act as an equalizing board as required by <br />Section 11-47, Indian River County Code; <br />WHEREAS, the Board on November 1, 1988, at 9:05 A.M. conducted the public <br />hearing with regard to the improvements and the special assessments; <br />WHEREAS, the Board, by Resolution No. 88-112, adopted on November 1, 1988, <br />confirmed and approved the assessment roll with respect to the special <br />assessments which assessed a total of $282,800 against 404 properties ($700 per <br />property); and <br />WHEREAS, the improvements have now been completed and the actual cost <br />thereof to be paid by the special assessments has been determined. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows: <br />
