The fallout from the Covid-19 pandemic will leave many of our members in need of support to recover. Promoting arts and culture will be more important than ever to restore our County's reputation as a prime destination fortultural experiences and events focused on tourists and potential new residents. The Cultural Council's programs aimed at supporting tourism include digital marketing, print publications, broadcast marketing, Web, Cultural Concierge Service, and information distribution at our main office and at local festivals. TDC funds are instrumental in our programs. We plan to increase social media outreach and to create an electronic copy of our ever popular Arts and Culture Guide now availatle in hardcopy. The electronic copy will be accessible through our website to be shared with potential visitors from all areas of the globe. The Cultural Council was the only TDC funded agency to receive a cut in its funding last year. We are simply requesting the funding be reinstated to previous levels of $60,000 annually.
