Board of County Commissioners Meeting Minutes - Final July 15, 2020 <br />QUASI NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS <br />20-1758 <br />Attachments: Quasi Non Profit <br />Administrator recommendations for Quasi -Non -Profit Organizations: <br />• Senior Resource - $500,000, a decrease of ($660,000) or (56.9%) <br />• Senior Services - $125,927, no change from last fiscal year <br />• Gifford Youth Center - $99,601, no change from last fiscal year <br />• Progressive Civic League - $12,185, no change from last fiscal year <br />• Humane Society - $0, a decrease of ($370,547) or (100%) (moved to the <br />General Fund under Animal Services) <br />• Treasure Coast Homeless Services - $15,270, no change from last fiscal <br />year <br />The total for Quasi -Non -Profit Organizations was $752,983, a decrease of <br />($1,030,547) or (57.78%). <br />Director Daniels reviewed the recommendations for the Quasi -Non -Profit <br />Organizations, and pointed out that the organizations perform a function that the <br />County would have to do otherwise. <br />The Chairman opened the floor for public comments. <br />Karen Deigl, CEO, Senior Resource Association, thanked the Board for their <br />continued support. <br />DORI SLOSBERG DRIVER EDUCATION SAFETY ACT <br />LAND ACQUISITION BOND 2004 <br />20-1759 <br />Attachments: Dori Slosbeng <br />Administrator recommendations for the Dori Slosberg Driver Education <br />Safety Act: <br />• IRC School District - $49,000, no change from last fiscal year <br />• Reserve for Contingency - $8,000, no change from last fiscal year <br />The total for the Dori Slosberg Driver Education Safety Act was $57,000, no <br />change from last year's fiscal budget. <br />Indian River County Florida Page 8 <br />
