It will also <br />build parent capacity through parent training and family engagement activities. <br />Community -Based Mentoring program will provide one-to-one mentoring to identified "at -risk" children <br />and youth with a trained adult volunteer "Big" who mentors an average of 3 hours per week all year with <br />a "mentee/little". Mentors are matched with identified youth who are struggling academically and/or <br />socially in the community. They focus on academics, goal setting, life skills, and removing barriers from <br />future success. <br />
