Bid No. 2020053/IRC-1855 <br />TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS <br />SCOPE <br />This project consists of constructing building and site improvements. <br />Site work: to include demolition of existing concrete sidewalk, retaining walls, stairs, removal of trees, and signs. <br />New construction to include sidewalk, concrete parking spaces, drainage improvements, signage, and striping. <br />Structural work: to include removing interior floor sections, replacing masonry pier, replacing floor beams, <br />replacing floor joists, leveling of floor, installing new flooring, remove existing roofing, rafter repairs, installing <br />new roof sheeting and shingles, remove and replace doors, remount/ or reseal windows, remove and replace <br />sections of wood siding, painting exterior, constructing new retaining wall, constructing new stairs, handrails, <br />fencing. <br />The above descriptions are general and may not include every aspect of construction. Please refer to the <br />following documents for specific project requirements. <br />Civil Drawings Sheets C-1 to C-6 <br />Structural Drawings Sheets S-1 to S-5 <br />Total of 11 sheets <br />Permits from the following agencies may be required: <br />Indian River County Building Permit <br />Indian River County Re -Roof Permit <br />Contractor will be responsible for permit fees. <br />Each bidder must be an actively registered General Contractor in the State of Florida and be registered with the <br />Indian River County Building Division. <br />Regular working hours are defined as Monday through Friday, excluding Indian River County Holidays, <br />from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. All costs of inspection and testing performed during overtime work by the <br />CONTRACTOR, which is allowed solely for the convenience of the CONTRACTOR, shall be borne by the <br />CONTRACTOR. <br />End of Technical Specifications <br />Page 13 of 45 <br />
