Board of County Commissioners Meeting Minutes - Final September 23, 2020 <br />Aye: 5 - Chairman Adams, Vice Chairman Flescher, Commissioner Zorc, Commissioner <br />O'Bryan, and Commissioner Solari <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Solari, seconded by Commissioner Zorc, to <br />approve the Solid Waste Disposal District (SWDD) Budget of $17,926,067, and to <br />approve Resolution 2020-081, amending the County Budget Officer's estimates of <br />receipts other than taxes and of balances to be brought forward for Fiscal Year <br />2020-2021 and adopting a final budget for the Solid Waste Disposal District. The <br />motion carried by the following vote: <br />Aye: 5- Chairman Adams, Vice Chairman Flescher, Commissioner Zorc, Commissioner <br />O'Bryan, and Commissioner Solari <br />The Board of Commissioners adjourned the Solid Waste Disposal District meeting <br />and reconvened as the Board of County Commissioners of the Final Budget <br />Hearing. <br />7. ADOPTION OF NON -AD VALOREM ASSESSMENT CHARGES <br />A. 2020/2021 proposed charge for each Non -Ad Valorem Assessment <br />20-1957 Non -Ad Valorem Resolution <br />Recommended Action: Approve and Adopt the Resolution <br />Attachments: Non -Ad Valorem Funds <br />Chairman Adams read into the record, the 2020-2021 proposed charge for each <br />Municipal Services Benefit Unit (MSBU), and for each Street Lighting District as <br />follows: <br />M.S.B.U. <br />1. <br />East Gifford Stormwater <br />2. <br />Vero Lake Estates <br />Street Lighting District <br />4. <br />Gifford <br />5. <br />Laurelwood <br />6. <br />Rockridge <br />$10.00 per parcel/acre <br />$50.00 per parcel /acre <br />$23.00 per parcel/acre <br />$36.00 per parcel/acre <br />$ 5.00 per parcel/acre <br />Indian River County Florida Page 6 <br />
