CONCLUSION <br />The requested RM -8 zoning district is compatible with the surrounding area and is consistent with <br />the goals, objectives, and policies of Indian River County's Comprehensive Plan. Most <br />importantly, the subject site is. located in an area deemed suitable for M-1, Medium -Density <br />Residential -1 uses allowed under the requested RM -8 zoning. For these reasons, staff supports the <br />request. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Based on the analysis, staff and the Planning and Zoning Commission recommends that the Board <br />of County Commissioners approve this request to rezone the subject site from RM -6 to RM -8 by <br />adopting the proposed rezoning ordinance. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />1.
