Board of Commissioners SWDD Final Budget Hearing Meeting Minutes - Final September 23, 2020 <br />A motion was made by Commissioner O'Bryan, seconded by Vice Chairman Flescher, <br />to approve the Non -Ad Valorem assessment rates of $78.37 per Residential Waste <br />Generation Unit ($125.39/House), a 3.72% increase from current year; $44.52 per <br />Commercial Waste Generation Unit, a 6% increase from current year; and <br />Readiness -to -Use Fee of $27.42, a 11.06% increase from current year, for the Solid <br />Waste Disposal District (SWDD); and to approve Resolution 2020-080, <br />Aye: 5- Chairman Adams, Vice Chairman Flescher, Commissioner Zorc, Commissioner <br />O'Bryan, and Commissioner Solari <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Solari, seconded by Commissioner Zorc, to <br />approve the Solid Waste Disposal District (SWDD) Budget of $17,926,067, and to <br />approve Resolution 2020-081, amending the County Budget Officer's estimates of <br />receipts other than taxes and of balances to be brought forward for Fiscal Year <br />2020-2021 and adopting a final budget for the Solid Waste Disposal District. The <br />motion carried by the following vote: <br />Chairman Adams, Vice Chairman Flescher, Commissioner Zorc, Commissioner <br />Aye: 5 - O'Bryan, and Commissioner Solari <br />The Board of Commissioners adjourned the Solid Waste Disposal District meeting <br />and reconvened as the Board of County Commissioners of the Final Budget <br />Hearing. <br />Indian River County Florida Page 2 <br />
