SECOND AMENDMENT TO INDIAN RIVER COUNTY_ <br />CARES ACT AGREEMENT <br />THIS SECOND AMENDMENT TO INDIAN RIVER COUNTY CARES ACT <br />AGREEMENT ("Amendment') is entered into as of the 5 day of Gtr Lk Y 2021 by <br />and between Indian River County, apolitical subdivision of the State of Florida, w_ ose address is <br />180127th Street,. Vero Beach,. Florida,, 32966 ("Recipient" ),, and Town of Orchid, a municipality, , <br />whose address is 7767 US Highway 1, Suite 1, Vero Beach, Florida 32967 (the "Subrecipient'). <br />RECITALS. <br />WHEREAS, Recipient and Subrecipient entered into -the IndianRiver County CARESAct <br />Agreement, which set forth a scope of work for theusc of CARES Act funds by the Subrecipient <br />(the ``Agreemen_t'); and <br />WHEREAS, the Recipient and -Subrecipient intended on amending the Agreement to <br />increases the funding in the. Agreement. from $15,8.71 to $.16,87.1 and to revise. the. initial.s_._cope of <br />work to reflect the uses of the additional funding, and <br />WHEREAS, due to a scrivener's - error the amendment indicated an increase from $15.871 <br />W $63,471 while the revised scope of work reflected the requested $16;871; and <br />WHEREAS, the Recipient and Subrecipient wish to amend the Agreement to increase the <br />funding in the Agreement from $23,8.7.1, which will be distributed betty. eenthe programs: described <br />in the Revised Scope of Work; <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual undertakings herein and other good <br />and valuable consideration, the receipt and adequacy of which is hereby acknowledged, the parties <br />agree, as follows: <br />1,.
