Indian River County Library System <br />Annual Plan of Service FY 2020/2021 <br />The Annual Plan of Service is an outline of the Indian River County Library System's <br />focus of activities during the year. The plan supports the goals, objectives, and action <br />plan from the Library System's Long -Range Plan, and are supported by the Library <br />System's budget as described. <br />The major emphasis during Fiscal Year 2021 (October 1, 2020 to September 30, <br />2021) will be: <br />• Expand service area to the Intergenerational Center through the use of a state- <br />of-the-art vending library. <br />• Continue Archive Center digitization projects to preserve local and Florida <br />history. <br />• Expand outreach to children and seniors. <br />• Continue to offer innovative programming that brings in historically difficult to <br />reach age groups. <br />• Continue to provide public computer and internet instruction. <br />• Administer LSTA grant for technology instruction. <br />• Increase programming and services to children using improved and modified <br />staffing levels. <br />• Continue expansion of the North County Library to provide a multi-purpose <br />children's room and STEAM lab. <br />• Partner with local organizations to provide free legal clinics to the public. <br />• Market and promote the Legal Study Center. <br />• Provide materials and information services that are responsive to the diverse <br />needs of the public and legal community and ensure accessibility for all. <br />• Partner with the Laura Riding Jackson Foundation on joint programming at the <br />Brackett Library. <br />• Continue to offer enhanced digital collections. <br />67 <br />
