4/16/9o(SpB02) LEGAL(Vkb)CKE <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9o- 48 <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, BYITS BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS, AFFIRMING THE INDIAN <br />RIVER ARTS COUNCIL'S STATUS AS THE LOCAL <br />ARTS AGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Indian River Arts Council has been <br />functioning as the umbrella organization for more than 25 <br />cultural and artistic groups since it was established as a <br />non-profit corporation in 1986, and <br />WHEREAS, the County Commission and local <br />municipalities have supported its efforts through annual <br />proclamations and financial sharing of tourist tax revenues, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF <br />COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that <br />the Board hereby affirms the Indian River Arts Council's <br />status as its designated Local Arts Agency. <br />The foregoing Resolution was offered by <br />Commissioner Bird and seconded by Commissioner <br />Bowman and upon being put to a vote the vote was as <br />follows: <br />Chairman Carolyn K. Eggert Aye <br />Vice Chairman Richard N. Bird AYe <br />Commissioner Margaret C. Bowman AYe <br />Commissioner Don C. Scurlock, Jr. Aye <br />Commissioner Gary C.
