RESOLUTION NO. 90-99 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPROVING A CHANGE IN THE <br />BOUNDARIES OF THE INDIAN RIVER MOSQUITO CONTROL DISTRICT <br />TO INCREASE THE SIZE OF SAID DISTRICT. <br />WHEREAS, the Town of Fellsmere, within Indian River County, has requested <br />the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County and the Board of <br />Commissioners of the Indian River Mosquito Control District to provide mosquito <br />control services to the Town of Fellsmere and adjacent areas; and <br />WHEREAS, the only fair way for provision of mosquito control services to <br />additional areas is to include such areas within the taxing authcrity of the Indian <br />River Mosquito Control District so that mosquito control services are not supplied <br />at the cost of othtws than those receiving such services; and <br />WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the residents of the County living <br />within the areas to be i.ii::htded in the service and taxing area. of the Indian River <br />Mosquito Control District as described in Exhibit "A" attached heret3 and, as such, <br />made a part hereof; and <br />WHEREAS, the boundaries of thr, Indian River Mosquito Cortrol District wt;re <br />established by Special Act of the Legislature, Chapter 24600, Laws of Florida, Acte <br />of 1947, and acts amendatory thereof; <br />NOW, THEREI.ORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: <br />1. This Board hereby adopts and ratifies the matters set forth in the <br />foregoing recitals. <br />2. The Board approves a change in the boundaries of the Indian River <br />Mosquito Co.atrol DistA:!L so that the area within the County described in Exhibit "A" <br />will comprise the Disti•ict:. <br />3. The Boord directs that this Resolution, approving a• change in the <br />
