CONTRACT NO: A5676 <br />WPI NO: 4595350 <br />JOB NO: 68000-3516 <br />Supplemental Agreement Date: <br />Exhibit "A" Amended <br />This Exhibit forms an integral part of that certain Joint <br />Participation Agreement between the State of Florida Department of <br />Transportation and the Indian River Board of County Commissioners. <br />Initiation of this project is contingent upon issuance of a Notice to <br />Proceed and joint approval of a detailed Scope of Services by the <br />Federal Highway Administration and the Department. <br />THE PROJECT• <br />Traffic Circulation Planning Studies for the Indian River County <br />Urban Area. <br />LOCATION• <br />Indian River County Urban Area <br />THE PROJECT DETAIL: <br />Examine Traffic Operations and other Transportation System <br />Management Strategies that could be implemented at minimal cost in a <br />short time frame to improve traffic flow and decrease congestion on <br />the State Highway System. <br />Accomplishment of the objective of this project will be aided <br />through the acquisition of equipment including computer hardware, <br />plotter and peripherals, and traffic counters/classifiers and <br />peripherals. <br />This equipment will be used for the transportation planning <br />functions such as screenline counts, concurrency implementation, and <br />the Traffic Count Programs of the County and the Department of <br />Transportation. <br />
