Miscellaneous Budget Amendment #018 <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum of May 15, 1995: <br />TO: _ Members of the Board DATE: May 15, 1995 <br />of County Commissioners <br />SUBJECT: MISCELLANEOUS BUDGET AMENDMENT 018 <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />FROM: Joseph A. B' <br />OMB Directo <br />DESCRIPZTON AND CONDTITONS <br />The attached budget amendment is to appropriate funding for the following: <br />1. During Tropical Storm Gordon, the engine in Unit 731 was damaged <br />beyond repair. It was necessary to obtain a replacement engine on an <br />emergency basis and requested that the funds come from the contingency <br />account. The cost of the engine was $5,800. This entry allocates the <br />funding. <br />2. The legal fees for the County Court budget are going to be more than <br />anticipated for fiscal year 1994/95. It is estimated that $12,000 more is <br />needed to be transferred from General Fund contingencies. <br />3. This entry allocates donations received by the North County Library <br />amounting to $3,656. <br />4. At the October 18, 1994 meeting of the Board of County Commissioners, <br />the board approved an agreement for $20,000 with Atlantic Coastal Title <br />Corp. for the purpose of identifying and locating Murphy Deed road <br />reservations in Indian River County. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve the attached budget amendment <br />018. <br />7 <br />May 23, 1995 8PK 9 PAcF 165 <br />
