Fr- -1 <br />Boxlu <br />ORDINANCE 95-10 <br />To demonstrate that existing unpaved areas <br />meet these standards, core samples taken in <br />accordance with FDOT-approved methods shall be <br />performed and the testing methods and results <br />shall be reported to the public works director <br />or his designee • .11=. A minimum of <br />three (3) core samples shall be taken on any <br />given project site or one (1) core sample <br />shall be taken for every five thousand (5,000) <br />square feet of unpaved parking/driveway area, <br />whichever results in the greater number of <br />required samples. All core sample testing <br />locations shall be approved by the ublic <br />works director or his designee • - . - <br />prior to testing. <br />9. The waiver request shall be accompanied by a <br />parking area and driveway maintenance plan, <br />certified by an engineer. The maintenance <br />plan shall address the following: <br />a. Grading schedule and conformance with <br />applicable Chapter 930 stormwater <br />requirements; <br />b. Maintenance (eg. irrigation and mowing <br />schedule) of any areas proposed to be <br />sodded or grassed; and <br />C. Dust control. <br />10. The waiver request shall be accompanied by a <br />parking area and driveway traffic safety and <br />circulation signage plan that is acceptable to <br />the county ublic works director or his <br />designee . - . - pursuant to accepted <br />traffic engineering practices. <br />11. All parking stalls shall be equipped -with a <br />wheel stop or equivalent (eg. non -mountable <br />curbing). <br />12. All entrance and/or exit driveways connecting <br />to a paved roadway shall be paved with a <br />material in accordance with section 954.10(1) <br />or (2), from the roadway edge of pavement to a <br />point at least fifty (50) feet into the <br />project site as measured in a direction <br />perpendicular to the roadway edge. <br />(4) Paving stone, block or similar type construction <br />shall be allowed subject to approval by the public <br />works director or his designee • - * <br />(5) Driveway aprons constructed in the county right-of- <br />way where a paved county road exists and connects <br />developments proposed for site plan approval shall <br />be of the flexible pavement or rigid pavement <br />design, as specified in 954.09(1) and 954.09(2) <br />above, and shall be constructed only after receipt <br />of and Indian River County Department of Public <br />Works permit. <br />28 <br />MAY 319 1995 <br />
