Prado, Assistant County Attorney <br />j3, A <br />Attorney Matters - B.C.C. 01. 12.21 <br />Ofce of <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: Dylan Reingold, County Attorney <br />DATE: January 6, 2021 <br />SUBJECT: 2021 Committees Vacancies <br />ATTORNEY <br />On September 13, 2011, the Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution 2011-072, which <br />assigned to the County Attorney's Office the task of monitoring certain committee member terms, and <br />overseeing the process of annual appointments and reappointments. Pursuant to this process, on November <br />17, 2020, the Board reappointed a significant number of incumbent committee members to another term. <br />This agenda item is to consider appointment of new applicant(s) to committee vacancies. Committee <br />vacancies have been advertised on the County's website, on Channel 27. There are qualified applicants to <br />be considered for appointment to the various committees' vacancies. Some of the applications have been <br />on file for a while and the County Attorney's office has confirmed with the applicants, that they are still <br />interested in serving. <br />The following are the names of the qualified applicants, whose resumes and applications are available for <br />review in the Commissioners' Front Office area: <br />Affordable Housing Advisory Committee (AHAC) — The current vacancies for the AHAC are <br />as follows: <br />1. One (1) citizen who actively serves on the county's local planning agency (Planning and <br />Zoning Commission). <br />2. One (1) citizen who is actively engaged in the residential home building industry in <br />connection with affordable housing. <br />3. One (1) citizen who is actively engaged in the banking or mortgage banking industry in <br />connection with affordable housing. <br />4. One (1) citizen who is a representative of those areas of labor actively engaged in home <br />building in connection with affordable housing. <br />5. One (1) citizen who represents employers within the county. <br />6.
