11982. <br />• <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82- 86 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE HOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIbA, FORMALLY ACCEPTING <br />PARK PARCELS DEDICATED TO THE PUBLIC. <br />/1 <br />WHEREAS, Orchid Island Subdivision Units 1 and 2 were <br />platted and recorded in the Official Records of Indian River <br />County on May 2, 1955, and January 15, 1960, respectively, and <br />WHEREAS, both plats contain ardedication of certain <br />lands designated for parks on the plat, to the public forever, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the County believes that title to the park <br />parcels was settled in the general public by virtue of the <br />County's approval and recording of said plats and acceptance by <br />the County, and <br />WHEREAS, to clarify and settle this matter forever it is <br />now necessary to adopt a formal resolution to be placed in the <br />official records of Indian River County accepting the dedication <br />of these park parcels. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE XT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: <br />1. The: park parcels dedicated to the public forever in <br />the plats of Orchid Island Subdivision Units 1 and 2 located at <br />Plat _Hook 4 Page 3 Docket 169904 and Plat Book 6 Page 32 Docket <br />#110091 of the Official. Records of Indian River County have <br />Previously been accepted by the County. <br />2. Said acceptance Is hereby ratified and reconfirmed. <br />3. County Attorney is authorized and instructed to <br />record a copy of this resolution in the Official Records of Indian <br />River County, Florida, <br />The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner <br />' Lyons who moved its adoption.
