Solid Waste Disposal District <br />January 12, 2021 <br />The Board of County Commissioners reconvened as the Board of <br />Commissioners of the Solid Waste Disposal District. The minutes will be <br />approved at an upcoming Solid Waste Disposal District meeting. <br />15.6.1. 21-0129 Approval of Minutes Final Budget Hearing of September 23, 2020 <br />Recommended Action: Approve <br />Attachments: 09232020 SWDD Final Budget Hearing Draft <br />A motion was made by Vice Chairman O'Bryan, seconded by Commissioner <br />Adams, to approve the Final Budget Hearing Minutes of September 23, 2020 as <br />written. The motion carried by the following vote: <br />Aye: 5 - Chairman Flescher, Vice Chairman O'Bryan, Commissioner Adams, <br />Commissioner Earman, and Commissioner Moss <br />15.B.2. 21-0138 Final Pay for Bid 2020027 - Old Dixie Highway -Landfill Wetland Mitigation <br />Site Perimeter Fencing <br />Recommended Action: Staff recommends the Solid Waste Disposal District Board consider the <br />following: 1. Approve Change Order #1 to KMG Fencing, LLC, of Apopka, <br />Florida, for an additional gate for $2,800; and final payment of $13,421.29; <br />and, 2. Approve and authorize the Chairman to sign Change Order #1 <br />Attachments: Staff Report <br />Change Order #1 <br />Final Pay Invoice <br />Vice Chairman O'Bryan received clarification from Director of Utility Services <br />Vincent Burke regarding the property's prior use for wetland mitigation, and the <br />possibility of converting the lot into conservation land. <br />A motion was made by Vice Chairman O'Bryan, seconded by Chairman Flescher, <br />to approve staffs recommendation.
