The Chairman asked if there were any corrections or additions <br />to the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of May 16, 1995. Proclamation Designating Tune 19-25. 1995 as Amateur Radio Week <br />PROCLAMATION <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County has more than 300 licensed Amateur <br />Radio operators who have demonstrated their value in <br />public assistance by providing emergency radio communi- <br />cations; and <br />WHEREAS, these Amateur Radio operators donate their services free <br />of charge to the County, in the interest of the citizens <br />of the county as well as the world; and <br />WHEREAS, the Amateur Radio operators are on alert for any <br />emergency, local -or worldwide, and practice their <br />communication skills during the American Radio Relay <br />League's Field Day exercise; and <br />WHEREAS, this year the Amateur Radio Field Day will take place on <br />June 24-25, 1995: <br />JUNE 139 1995 <br />2 <br />
