SC -6.08 Permits <br />SC -6.08 Add the following paragraphs immediately after paragraph GC -6.08.A: <br />The OWNER has obtained the following permits (copies of these permits are <br />contained in Appendix A): <br />A. Florida Department of Transportation — Permit No. 2020-A-490-00024 <br />B. Florida Department of Environmental Protection Environmental Resource <br />Permit — Permit No. 31 -0389909 -001 -EI <br />C. Florida Department of Environmental Protection Environmental Resource <br />Coastal Construction Control Line — Permit No. IR -989 <br />D. Indian River County Site Plan Approval - Permit No. 92020163 / 87074 <br />E. Indian River County Land Clearing — Permit No. 92020163 / 87075 <br />F. Indian River County Tree Removal — Permit No. 92020163 / 87076 <br />G. Indian River County Dune Maintenance — Permit No.92020163 / 87077 <br />H. Army Corp. of Engineers — None Required <br />2. The CONTRACTOR shall obtain and pay for all other required permits and <br />licenses. The CONTRACTOR shall provide copies of the permits to the <br />OWNER and ENGINEER and shall comply with all conditions contained in <br />the permits at no extra cost to the OWNER. <br />3. The CONTRACTOR shall be familiar with all permit requirements during <br />construction and shall be responsible for complying with these <br />requirements. The cost of this effort shall be included in the pay item in <br />which the work is most closely associated with. <br />SC -9.05 Authorized Variations in Work <br />SC -9.05.A. Delete the second sentence in paragraph GC -9.05.A in its entirety. <br />SC -11.01 Cost of the Work <br />SC -11.01.A.1. Delete paragraph GC -11.01.A.1 in its entirety, and insert the following sentences <br />in its place: <br />CONTRACTOR will receive payment for actual costs of direct labor and burden <br />(see SC -2.06.13) for the additional or unforeseen work. Labor includes foremen <br />actually engaged in the work; and will not include project supervisory personnel nor <br />necessary on-site clerical staff, except when the additional or unforeseen work is a <br />controlling work item and the performance of such controlling work item actually <br />extends completion of the project due to no fault of the Contractor. Compensation <br />for project supervisory personnel, but in no case higher than a Project Manager's <br />position, shall only be for the pro -rata time such supervisory personnel spent on <br />the contract. In no case shall an officer or director of the Company, nor those <br />persons who own more than 1% of the Company, be considered as project <br />supervisory personnel, direct labor or foremen hereunder.
