NOTICE OF-INTENT- <br />PUBLIC <br />FINTENT- <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that <br />the Board of County Commis- <br />sioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, will conduct a Public <br />Hearing to consider adoption <br />of a proposed ordinance enti- <br />tled: <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMIS- <br />SIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY, FLORIDA AMEND- <br />ING SECTION 201.22 (RESPON- <br />SIBILITY FOR PAYMENT OF <br />WATER/SEWER FEES; LIEN FOR <br />UNPAID BILLS) OF PART 1 (IN <br />GENERAL) OF CHAPTER 201 <br />(COUNTY WATER AND SEWER <br />SERVICES) OF THE CODE OF <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, TO <br />ESTABLISH PROCEDURES FOR <br />WAIVER OF PENALTIES AND <br />INTEREST UNDER CERTAIN <br />CIRCUMSTANCES AND AU- <br />THORIZE SETTLEMENTS AND <br />FORECLOSURE ACTIONS; AND <br />PROVIDING FOR CODIFICA- <br />TION; SEVERABILITY; CON- <br />FLICT OF ORDINANCES; AND <br />EFFECTIVE DATE OF THE OR- <br />DINANCE. <br />The Public Hearing will be <br />held on Tuesday, March 9, <br />2021 at 9:05 a.m., or as soon <br />thereafter as the matter may <br />be heard, in the County Com- <br />mission Chambers located on <br />the first floor of Building A of <br />the County Administrative <br />Complex, 1801 27th Street, <br />Vero Beach, Florida 32960, at <br />which time interested parties <br />may be heard with respect to <br />the proposed ordinance. <br />The proposed ordinance may <br />be inspected by the public <br />during regular business hours <br />(8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Mon- <br />day through Friday) at the Of- <br />fice of the Clerk to the Board <br />of County Commissioners lo- <br />cated on the second floor of <br />Building A of the County Ad- <br />ministrative Complex, 1801 <br />27th Street, Vero Beach, Flori- <br />da; or alternatively, the pro- <br />posed ordinance may be in- <br />spected at www'ircgov.com. <br />Anyone who may wish to ap- <br />peal any decision which may <br />be made at this meeting will <br />need to ensure that a verba- <br />tim record of the proceedings <br />is made, which includes testi- <br />mony and evidence upon <br />which the appeal is based. <br />Anyone who needs a special <br />accommodation for this meet- <br />ing must contact the County's <br />Americans With Disabilities <br />Act (ADA) Coordinator at 772- <br />226-1223 at least 48 hours in <br />advance of the meeting. <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />JOSEPH E.
