Office of Management and Budget <br />G Public Works <br />12.6.1. 21-0305 Award of RFQ No. 2021015 (IRC -1505), CEI Services for 66th Ave from 49th <br />Street to 69th Street Roadway Widening <br />Recommended Action: Staff recommends approval of Agreement with Consor Engineers, LLC, <br />authorizing the professional services as outlined in the Scope of Services and <br />requests the Board authorize the Chairman to execute Agreement on their <br />behalf for a lump sum amount of $4,498,533.42. <br />Attachments: Staff Report <br />CEI Agreement <br />Attachment "A" <br />Attachment "B" <br />Attachment "C" <br />Director of Public Works Rich Szpyrka appeared before the Board to request <br />approval of Consor Engineers agreement for Construction Engineering <br />Inspection (CEI) Services related to the widening of 66th Avenue from 49th <br />Street to 69th Roadway. He noted that the hiring of a CEI consultant was a <br />requirement of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) grant the <br />County received for this project. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Adams, seconded by Chairman Flescher, <br />to approve staffs recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: <br />Aye: 5- Chairman Flescher, Vice Chairman O'Bryan, Commissioner Adams, <br />Commissioner Earman, and Commissioner Moss <br />12.6.2. 21-0317 Florida Department of Environmental Protection's Central Indian River Lagoon <br />Basin Management Action Plan <br />Recommended Action: Staff recommends that the Board authorize County Staff to seek an extension of <br />time to the filing deadline in order to continue conversations to resolve <br />County's concerns. In the event these discussions are unsuccessful, County <br />Staff recommends the Board authorize the filing of a petition challenging <br />FDEP's proposed agency action of finalizing the Central Indian River Lagoon <br />Basin Management Action Plan as a last resort in order to preserve the County's <br />rights. <br />Indian River County Florida Page 8 <br />
