Accept Dedication of Right -of --Way and Cancellation of Taxes <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum of June 12, 1995: <br />TO: The Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: William G. Collins II - Deputy County Attorney <br />DATE: June 12, 1995 <br />SUBJECT: A Resolution to Accept Dedication of Right -Of -Way and to <br />Cancel Taxes on Same <br />A resolution has been prepared for the purpose of accepting a right-of-way <br />dedication and cancelling any delinquent or current taxes which may exist on <br />the following property acquired by Indian River County for public purpose: <br />Right -of -Way acquired from Du -J's, Inc., a Florida corporation, which <br />right-of-way is fully described in that Warranty Deed recorded in <br />Official Record Book 1059, Pages 927-928, Public Records of Indian <br />River County, Florida. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Authorize the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners to execute the <br />Resolution accepting the dedication and cancelling certain taxes upon publicly <br />owned lands, and the Clerk to send a certified copy of same to the Tax <br />Collector so that any delinquent or current taxes can be cancelled. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously <br />adopted Resolution No. 95-74, accepting a <br />right-of-way dedication from Du -J's, Inc., and <br />cancelling certain taxes upon publicly owned <br />lands, as recommended in the memorandum. <br />10 <br />June 20, 1995 <br />I <br />
