RESOLUTION NO. 95-75 Indian River County, Florida is proposing to issue $15,000,000* original aggregate principal amount of General Obligation Bonds, Series 1995 for the purpose of (i) financing the acquisition of environmentally significant land to protect water quality, open spaces, and wildlife habitat in Indian River County and (ii) paying the costs of issuing the Series 1995 Bonds, all as further described in Resolution No. 95-63 (the "Resolution"). The final maturity date of the Series 1995 Bonds is August 1, 2010, and the Series 1995 Bonds are expected to be repaid over a period of fifteen (15) years. At a forecasted average interest rate of % per annum, total interest paid over the life of the Series 1995 Bonds will be $ The source of repayment or security for this proposal is the County's ad valorem taxes without limit on all taxable property in the County as provided in the Resolution. Because the Series 1995 Bonds are being paid from a separate tax levy, the purpose of which is limited to the repayment of the Series 1995 Bonds (and other parity obligations) and the payment of the Project, authorizing the Series 1995 Bonds will not affect the amount of County funds available to finance other capital projects of the County.
