DeBraal - Deputy County Attorney <br />DATE: March 5, 2020 <br />SUBJECT: Release and Satisfaction of Demolition Lien <br />4606 32nd Avenue, Vero Beach, FL 32967 <br />Tax Parcel No. 32-39-22-00000-7000-00077.0 <br />On February 21, 2011, Indian River County recorded a demolition lien in the amount of <br />$3,929.11 against the reference property which was titled in the names of Carrie <br />Copeland and Lillian Cleare Perry. The property was subsequently the subject of a tax <br />deed sale and the County's lien survived the tax deed sale. Funds have been received, by <br />the current owner to satisfy the lien, including the accrued interest; and the funds, in the <br />amount of $5,981.07, were deposited into the MSTU Funding/Building Demolition Liens <br />revenue account. Attached for the Board's consideration is a Release and Satisfaction. <br />FUNDING: <br />The only cost associated with this item :is the recordation fee for recording the Release <br />and Satisfaction in the amount of $10.00 which amount is available from the MSTU <br />Fund/Building Demolition Liens revenue account number 004038-369092. It is noted <br />that the recordation fee for the release was also included with the funds that were <br />received to satisfy the lien. <br />REQUESTED ACTION: <br />Authorize the Chairman to execute the .Release and Satisfaction for recordation in the <br />Public Records of Indian River County, Florida. <br />nhm <br />Attachment: Release and Satisfaction <br />35 <br />
