Director Parks & Conservation Resources <br />Subject: Jones' Pier Conservation Area Public Use Improvements — Hazard Mitigation <br />Assistance — Revised Award and Grant Agreement <br />DESCRIPTIONS AND CONDITIONS <br />On December 1, 2020, the Board authorized the Chairman to execute a Federally -Funded Subaward <br />and Grant Agreement for elevation of the Jones' Pier Conservation Area Bungalow Cottage, more <br />commonly referred to as the Jones House. This application and subaward agreement (DR -4283 <br />Hurricane Matthew; 4283-91-R Indian River County 1920s Bungalow) provided by the Florida <br />Division of Emergency Management contained a clerical error regarding the end date. An updated <br />Agreement (H0566) has been provided changing the date of the Subaward Period of Performance <br />from April 6, 2021 to April 6, 2023. <br />No other terms or conditions within the Agreement have changed from the original. document <br />FUNDING <br />As previously approved by the Board on December 01, 2020, the grant match will be funded <br />through Optional Sales Tax as identified in the Capital Improvement Element of the Comprehensive <br />Plan adopted on December 3, 2019. The estimated funding summary shown is based on the <br />application for the HMGP funding.
