RESOLUTION 2021- 046 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, APPROVING ONE (1) HUD -VETERANS <br />AFFAIRS SUPPORTIVE HOUSING (HCV-VASH) <br />VOUCHER TO BE TRANSFERRED TO INDIAN <br />RIVER COUNTY. <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County Board of Commissioners Rental Assistance HCV- <br />VASH Voucher program has agreed to accept one (1) transfer VASH voucher; and <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County Board of Commissioners Rental Assistance HCV- <br />VASH Voucher program has accepted this voucher for the needs of the homeless veterans <br />residing in Indian River County; and <br />WHEREAS, the Indian River County Board Commissioners Rental Assistance <br />Department HCV-VASH Voucher program is committed to serving the population with the <br />jurisdiction and will administer this special purpose voucher for the intended purpose; and <br />WHEREAS, the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners Rental <br />Assistance HCV-VASH voucher program has agreed to the effective transfer date of January 1, <br />2022; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />1. The Indian River County Board of County Commissioners approves the one (1) <br />VASH voucher transfer effective for January 1, 2022. <br />The foregoing Resolution was offered by Commissioner Peter D. O'Bryan and <br />seconded by Commissioner Joseph E.. Flescheand, upon being put to a vote, the vote was as <br />follows: <br />Chairman Joseph Fletcher <br />AYE <br />Vice Chairman Peter D. O'Bryan <br />AYE <br />Commissioner Susan Adams <br />AYE <br />Commissioner Joe Earman <br />AYE <br />Commissioner Laura Moss <br />AYE <br />The Chairman thereupon declared the Resolution duly passed and adopted this <br />13th day of July _'2021. <br />
