State Housing Initiatives <br />Partnership - <br />To account for State funds distributed under the State <br />Housing Initiatives Partnership Act. The purpose of this <br />program is to provide for the creation and preservation of <br />affordable housing. Funds are provided by the documentary <br />stamp taxes. <br />Metropolitan Planning Organization- To account for expenditures incurred for planning <br />community transportation in the County. Financing is <br />provided by grants. <br />Native Uplands Land Acquisition- <br />CDBG Neighborhood Stabilization <br />Program - <br />SHIP Coronavirus Relief - <br />To account for expenditures related to the acquisition of <br />native habitat preserve areas and for the management of <br />such lands. Funding is provided by developers of property <br />who pay to mitigate native uplands destruction where <br />native upland plant communities will be destroyed. <br />To account for the proceeds from the Community <br />Development Block Grant. The purpose of this grant is to <br />provide neighborhood stabilization through resale and <br />rental of housing units purchased by the grant funds. <br />To account for revenues and expenditures from the <br />Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act <br />federal grant. This grant was provided to assist with rental <br />and mortgage assistance, related expenses, and housing <br />rehabilitation by State Housing Initiative Partnership (SHIP) <br />jurisdictions. <br />Florida Boating Improvement Program- To account for boat registration fees which may be used <br />for providing recreational channel marking, public <br />launching facilities, and other boating -related activities. <br />Disabled Access Program- To account for fines assessed against individuals for illegal <br />use of handicapped parking spaces. <br />121 <br />
