Prado, Assistant County Attorney <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: Dylan Reingold - County Attorney <br />DATE: May 5, 2021 <br />RE: Resolutions Delegating the Authority to the County Administrator or his Designee <br />to Call Letters of Credit and to Act on Behalf of Indian River County during the <br />Time Frames of July 14, 2021, through and including August 16, 2021; and <br />August 18, 2021, through and including September 13, 2021 <br />The Indian River County Board of County Commissioners has canceled regularly scheduled <br />meetings during the two time frames of July 14, 2021, through and including August 16, 2021; <br />and August 18, 2021, through and including September 13, 2021. During these two intervals, it <br />is necessary and desirable that the Board delegate to the County Administrator, or his designee, <br />the authority to call Letters of Credit that may expire during these two time intervals. Further, it <br />is necessary and desirable that the Board delegate to the County Administrator, or his designee <br />the authority to execute all other documents necessary for the proper functioning of the County <br />Funding: <br />There is no expense associated with this item. <br />Requested Action: <br />Authorize the Chairman to sign the two Resolutions as presented, delegating the authority to <br />call Letters of Credit and delegating full signing authority during the periods commencing July <br />14, 2021, through and including August 16, 2021; and August 18, 2021, through and including <br />September 13, 2021, respectively. <br />/nhm <br />Attachments <br />12 <br />
