4) TIMELINESS: <br />a) Describe current status of the project and present a reasonable and effective <br />timeline for the completion of the project consistent with Attachment E-6. <br />Prior to 1.0/1/2021 announcement: (1) Currently - 50% Match Funds in -hand (2) 5/1/2021 <br />- Submit all necessary permit application (3) 10/1/2021 — "Break Ground" on this <br />shovel -ready project; Demo of existing facility (4) 10/15/2021 Replacement of facility <br />(5) 12/1/2021 - Completion <br />b) Briefly explain any unique aspects of this project that could influence the timeline. <br />The proximity and ease of access to the County Wabasso Causeway Park on CR 510 will <br />expedite staging and removal of demolished materials from the existing ELC dock. <br />Likewise, the proximity of CR 510 (within 1/8 mile from the ELC) will speed staging and <br />delivery of all construction materials for the replacement of the facility. <br />(For reviewer only) <br />(1-3 points) <br />5) COSTS & EFFICIENCY: <br />a) List funding sources and the status and amount of the corresponding funding that will <br />be utilized to complete this project including any cash match or matching grant funds. <br />ELC provided 50% match is in -hand and ready to disburse immediately upon FIND award <br />of cost -share match. This project is truly "shovel ready." <br />b) Identify and describe any project costs that may be increased because of the materials <br />utilized or specific site conditions. <br />None anticipated. <br />c) Are there any fees associated with the use of this facility? If so, please list or attach fee sheet. <br />The ELC charges $35 for adults and $15 for children for Pontoon tours of the Lagoon with <br />a captain and a naturalist to provide education on the unique estuary environment. <br />Others include the use of the dock in their programs and fees are included w admission. <br />d) If there are any fees, please explain where these fees go and what they are used for. In <br />addition, please provide a listing of the fees charged by similar facilities, public and private, in <br />the project area. <br />Revenue from the tours are used to offset dock maintenance, fuel and boat repairs and <br />payroll expenses for the captain and education team. A similar tour given through <br />Captain Hiram's is $35 for adults and $12 for children. <br />(For reviewer only) <br />(1-6 points) <br />36 <br />
