Ennis, P.E., PMP, Assistant Public Works Director <br />FROM: Jill Williams, Contract Support Specialist <br />SUBJECT: Renewal and Amendment No. 1 to Agreement for Continuing Engineering <br />Services—RFQ No. 2018008 (IRC -2102) <br />DATE: March 17, 2021 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />On April 17, 2018 the Board of County Commissioners approved eighteen (18) firms for the continuing <br />contract agreement for continuing engineering services with Indian River County. The original <br />contract was for three (3) years with an option for one (1) two-year extension at the County's <br />discretion. This Renewal and Amendment No. 1 are for the two-year extensions. Amendment No. 1 <br />increases the allowable purchase order total from $15,000 to up to $35,000, as authorized by <br />Ordinance 2019-016 and the subsequent change to the Purchasing Manual, and adds e -Verify and <br />termination in regards to F.S. 287.135 clauses, both required by changes to Florida statute since the <br />original agreements were executed. <br />County staff has negotiated rate schedules with each individual firm. The rate schedules reflect fair <br />and competitive rates for comparable professional services and tasks. These rates will be the basis for <br />individual projects and work orders. <br />The sixteen (16) selected firms below have submitted fee schedules that have been accepted by <br />reviewing staff (two of the original firms are not renewing): <br />Aptim Environmental & Infrastructure, LLC <br />Bowman Consulting Group, Ltd. <br />CDM Smith, Inc. <br />Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. <br />Kimley-Horn & Associates, Inc. <br />Masteller & Moler, Inc. <br />Schulke, Bittle & Stoddard, LLC <br />Tetra Tech, Inc. <br />Atkins North America, Inc. <br />Carter Associates, Inc. <br />Coastal Waterways Design & Engineering, LLC <br />Jones Edmunds & Associates, Inc. <br />MARLIN Engineering, Inc <br />MBV Engineering, Inc. <br />Stantec Consulting Services, Inc. <br />Water Resources Management Associates, Inc. <br />72 <br />
