Board of County Commissioners Meeting Minutes - Final <br />May 4, 2021 <br />Linda Morgan, Progressive Civic League of Gifford, noted the proposal would <br />give residents a sense of pride for their neighborhood. <br />Freddie Woolfork, Progressive Civic League of Gifford, relayed that the tower <br />was a symbol of pride, identity and recognition. <br />Joseph Paladin, 6450 Tropical Way, supported the item. <br />Joe Idelette, 4570 57th Avenue, expressed thanks to the Commissioners and <br />supported the signage. <br />A motion was made by Vice Chairman O'Bryan, seconded by Chairman Flescher, <br />to add the name "Gifford" to the southwest quadrant of the area's water tower at <br />a cost of $8,500. The motion carried by the following vote: <br />Aye: 5- Chairman Flescher, Vice Chairman O'Bryan, Commissioner Adams, <br />Commissioner Earman, and Commissioner Moss <br />B. Commissioner Peter D. O'Bryan, Vice Chairman <br />C. Commissioner Susan Adams <br />D. Commissioner Joseph H. Earman <br />E.
