Board of Commissioners SWDD Meeting Minutes - Final <br />June 22, 2021 <br />The Board of County Commissioners reconvened as the Board of <br />Commissioners of the Solid Waste Disposal District. The minutes will be <br />approved at an upcoming Solid Waste Disposal District meeting. <br />B. Solid Waste Disposal District <br />Approved <br />15.8.1. 21-0620 Request for Relocation and Installation Services from Inter -Block <br />Retaining Systems, Inc. <br />Recommended action: Solid Waste Disposal District staff recommends that its Board approve the <br />following: a) Waive the requirement for bids for the removal and installation <br />of the Enviro-Block units from Inter -Block Retaining Systems in the total <br />amount of $59,760.00; and, b) Authorize the Purchasing Manager to issue a <br />purchase order to Inter -Block Retaining Systems for this project, after receipt <br />and approval of the required vendor insurance <br />Attachments: Staff Report <br />Proposal from Inter -Block Retaining Systems Inc <br />Detailed Construction Plan for Enviro-Block Placement <br />Director of Utility Services Vincent Burke read the information contained in <br />staff's memorandum regarding the request for relocation and installation <br />services from Inter -Block Retaining Systems, Inc. <br />There was no discussion on this item. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Adams, seconded by Commissioner <br />Earman, to approve staffs recommendation. The motion carried by the <br />following vote: <br />Aye: 4- Chairman Flescher, Commissioner Adams, Commissioner Earman, and <br />Commissioner Moss <br />Absent: 1 - Vice Chairman O'Bryan <br />15.8.2. 21-0621 Approval for Rehabilitation of the Above Ground Storage Tank at the IRC <br />Landfill <br />Recommended Action: Staff recommends that its Board approve all recommendations as listed in the <br />agenda item <br />Indian River County Florida Page 1 <br />
