The Solid Waste Disposal District (SWDD) and Indian River County Emergency Services <br />(IRCES) want our residents to be prepared. Here are a few ways to get ready before there is an imminent <br />threat: <br />Trim your trees now and clear away debris from your home, work or school; <br />Remove and store outdoor items that may become dangerous in high winds; <br />Build a disaster supply kit, make a plan, and stay informed. <br />We would like to remind all visitors and residents of Indian River County that hurricane preparedness help <br />is available online at www.irces.com or www.ready.gov.
