UNITED AGAINST POVERTY <br />FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Virginia Anzengruber <br />Senior Manager, Marketing and Communications <br />(321) 412-1209 <br />vanzengruber@unitedagainstpoverty.org <br />UNITED AGAINST POVERTY OF IRC AND CAREERSOURCE RESEARCH COAST <br />TEAM UP TO HOST JOB FAIR ON JULY 15 <br />Vero Beach, Fla., July 8, 2021 — United Against Poverty of Indian River County is proud to <br />announce that they will host the United Against Poverty Job Fair on Thursday, July 15, 2021, <br />from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., in partnership with CareerSource Research Coast. This free event <br />will be held at the UP Center, located at 1400 27th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960. All veterans <br />will receive early entry as part of a combined commitment to priority of service. <br />During the event, job seekers will have access to over 50 Martin, Indian River, and St. Lucie <br />County employers and community partners. To prepare, participants are encouraged to attend <br />CareerSource Research Coast's resume writing and interview preparation workshops. <br />CareerSource Research Coast will also host a special workshop called "Making the Most of the <br />Job Fair" for those needing additional assistance. Together, we hope to provide a <br />hand up, and not a handout to those looking for employment," said Matt Tanner, Executive <br />Director of UP IRC. <br />CareerSource Research Coast (CSRC) is a private, non-profit, Florida corporation with a board <br />of directors consisting of private businesses, economic development and education <br />representatives, community and state agencies, and elected officials. Members of the board <br />represent the diversity of businesses, organizations and trades that operate in Indian River, <br />Martin and St. Lucie counties. The State of Florida chartered CSRC to create and manage a <br />workforce development service delivery system responsive to the needs of businesses and job <br />seekers. The next Success Training Employment Partner (STEP) Program cohort will begin <br />July 26, with an additional offering for veterans looking to connect with top employers. <br />
