RESOLUTION 2021- 066 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN <br />RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE BUILDING PERMIT FEE <br />SCHEDULE INCREASING FEES BASED ON VALUATION (10% INCREASE) <br />AND ADJUSTING PRIVATE PROVIDER PERMIT FEE REDUCTION <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, in accordance <br />with Florida Statues, has established a policy that the Building Division is to be financed, to the <br />extent feasible, by user fees; and <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined that a 10% increase in the valuation factor (percentage) <br />used to calculate Building Permit Fees is warranted; <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined that an adjustment to the Private Provider Plan Review <br />(33.3% to 10%) and Inspection (33.3% to 25%) reduced Permit Fee percentages is warranted; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA that <br />The Building Permit Fee Schedule is hereby revised as set forth in the attached Appendix A. <br />The foregoing resolution was offered by Commissioner Susan Adams who <br />moved its adoption. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Joseph Flescher, and upon <br />being put to a vote, the vote was as follows: <br />Chairman Joseph E. Flescher <br />Vice Chairman Peter D.
