go RESOLUTION WnEREAS, the Sebastian Inlet, as the same is noir located and constructed, exists in Rrevard County, Florida, at a point approximately one and one-half miles North of the North Jird of Indian River County, Florida; and, WHEREAS, the said Inlet has been oonstructed at said location subsequent to the establishing on the line between Brevard and St. Lucie Counties, now Brevard and Indian River Counties; and, WHEREAS, there exists a narrow strip of land, all unimproved, between the Indian River and the Ocean to the South of said Sebastian Inlet which is now a part of Brevard County; and, WHEREAS, Brevard County has no access to this narrow strip of land; and, WHEREAS, the road to said Sebastian Inlet through the narrow strip of land above described is unimproved and practically impassible; and, WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, desires to improve said road in order to make the South side of said Sebastian Inlet accessible to the general public; and, WHEREAS, the Sebastian Inlet District which exists for the construction and maintenance of this Inlet covers a part of both Indian River and Brevard Counties; Now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that this Board does respectfully request the Hoard of County Commissioners of Brevard County, Florida, to adopt a Resolution directed to the members of the Legislature of the State of Florida from Brevard County requesting said Legislators to secureti-spassage of an act redefining the boundary line between Brovard and Indian River Counties, Florida, between the Indian River and the Atlantic Ocean in order that said boundary line shall be the center of the Sebastian Inlet.
