°I WHEREAS, the board of Publie Instruction of Indian River County, Florida, is now erecting; a public school on the North Gifford Road in Tndian River County, Florida; and, WBERHAS, in the opinion of the Board of County Commis- sioners ommissioners of Indian River County, Florida, it would be to the beat Interests of the eitizeaks of Indian River County that the area surrounding said public school be zoned with respect to the sale of alcoholic beverages and limitink, the area wherein the location of a vendorls place of business licensed under the State Beverage Laws of Florida may bo,permitted to be operated; Now, therefore, BE TT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that this Board does herewith establish a zone or area in Indian River County, Florida, in a territory lying. without the limits of any incorporated city or town wherein the location of a vendors place of business licensed under the Poverage Laws of the State of Florida i.s prohibited from being; operated and that such prohibited territory wherein such vendorts shall not operate and wherein no license shall be granted to any such licensee to conduct such a place of business is des- cribed as follows, to -wit: All that area or territory lying within one-half mile North and lying within one-half mile South of a line described as follows: Beginning at the Intersection of Florida State Road No. 5, or U. S. Highway No.1, and the North Gifford Road, and thence West along, said North Gi.fTord Road a distance of One (1) mile; provided, however, that thiq Resolution shall not apply to vendor's licensed under Paragraph(b) of Sub -section 1 of Section 561.34, Florida Statutes; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this Resolution be furnished to the Beverage Dnpartment of [Florida and to the Tax Collector of Indian River County, Flori.dr�.
