R E S O L U T I O N <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of <br />'Indian River County, Florida, that the rate of taxation necessary <br />to sleet the expenditures of the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Indian River County, Florida, for the fiscal year ending September <br />30, 1953, pursuant to the budget of said Board as heretofore pub- <br />lished and approved, is as hereinafter levied and that the tax <br />rate as hereinafter shown and set forth be and it is hereby levied <br />on all taxable property in Indian River County, Florida, for the <br />year 1452 with the rate herminaCter set out, to -wit - <br />1. In order to moot the estistated expenses of the <br />Oeneral Fund, It is d6ttrmined and is rebq dad axed that a tax rate <br />of Six (6) =ills upon the dollar be levied and is hereby :imposed. <br />2. In order to Meet the estitsatsd ezpenaes of the Road <br />and Br itdpa Fund, it is deterasir o d trAl hereby dselared that a tax <br />trans of One (1) Kalil upon tho dollar be levi®d and is hereby tm- <br />poseed. 1 <br />3. In order to meet the estimated expenses of the line <br />and: Porfolture Fund, it is determined and hereby declarhd that a <br />tax rata of Sev€n- tantha (.7) mill upon the dollar be levied and <br />Is hereby Imposed. <br />4. In order to tz et the estimated expeasrss of the <br />Capital outlay Reserve Fund,, it to detsrraried and hereby declared <br />that a tax rate or one (l) sill upon the dollar be levied and is <br />hereby Imposed. <br />5. In order to provide funds to the Indian River County <br />Public Health Unit, it is determined and hereby declared that a <br />tax rate of One-half (1/2) mill upon the dollar be levied, <br />assessed and is hereby imposed upon all the property lyir;g and <br />being in the County or Indian River, the proceeds of which when <br />collected shall be paid to the State Treasurer of the State of <br />Florida for the account of the State Hoard of Health of the State <br />of Florida to be expended by said State Board of Health as pro- <br />vided by Chapter 154, Florida Statutes. <br />t <br />i <br />
