R E 3 0 L 11 T I O N <br />WHEREAS, the County Auditor, after tentatively ascer- <br />taining the proposed fiscal policies of the Board of County Com- <br />missioners of Indian River County for the ensuing fiscal year, <br />did prepare and present to the Board a tentative budget for the <br />ensuing fiscal year for each of the Hinds as provided by law for <br />the annual budget of the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County, Florida, including all estimated receipts, taxes to <br />be levied and balances expected to be brought forth and all esti- <br />mated expenditures, reserves and balances to be carried over at <br />4 the end of the year; and, <br />jl <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners dial receive <br />and examine said tentativo budget for each fund and did require <br />such changes to be made as the Board did deem necessary and the <br />i' <br />Auditor's estimate of receipts other than taxes and of balances <br />�I to be brought forward not having been revised; and, <br />WHEREAS, upon receipt of said tentative budget and the <br />i <br />I <br />completion of all revisions, this Board did prepare a statement <br />Summarizing all of the tentative budgets showing for each budget <br />and the total of all budgets the proposed tax millages, the <br />jbalances, the reserves and the total of each major classification <br />IIof receipts and expenditures, classified according to the classi- <br />fication of accounts prescribed by the Comptroller of the State of <br />Florida; and, <br />WHEREAS, this Board did cause said sLvunary statement to <br />be advertised one time in a newspaper of general circulation pub- <br />lished in Indian River County, Florida, to -wit: In the issue of <br />July 23, 1953, of the Vero Beach Press Journal, as will more <br />fully appear by proof of publication thereof filed in the minutes <br />of this Board; and, <br />WHEREAS, this Board did meet at the time and place <br />stated in said advertisement for the purpose of hearing requests <br />and complaints from the public regarding the budgets and for the <br />purpose of holding a public hearing and making whatever revisions <br />in the budget it may deem necessary; Now, therefore, <br />MITCHELL.
