.'53 --is <br />R E S O L U T I O N <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Indian River County, Florida, that the rate of taxation necessary <br />to meet the expenditures of the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Indian River County, Florida, for the fiscal year ending September <br />30, 1954, pursuant to the budget of said Board as heretofore pub- <br />lished and approved, is as hereinafter levied and that the tax <br />rate as hereinafter shown and set forth be and it is hereby levied <br />on all taxable property in Indian River County, Florida, for the <br />Year 1953 with the rate hereinafter set out, to -wit: <br />1. In order to meet the estimated expenses of the <br />General Fund, it is determined and hereby declared that a tax <br />rate of Six and Four -tenths (6.h.) mills upon the dollar be levied <br />and is hereby imposed. <br />2. In order to meet the estimated expenses of the Road <br />and Bridge Fund, it is determined and hereby declared that a tax <br />rate of One (1) mill upon the dollar be levied and is hereby im- <br />posed. <br />! 3• In order to meet the estimated expenses of the Fine <br />I <br />and Forfeiture Fund, it is determined and hereby decla red that a <br />tax rate of One and One -tenths (1.1) mills upon the dollar be <br />levied and is hereby imposed. <br />4- In order to meet the estimated expenses of the <br />Capital Outlay Reserve Fund, it is determined and hereby declared <br />that a tax rate of Two-tonths (.2) mill. upon the dollar he levied <br />and is hereby imposed. <br />5. In order to provide funds to the Indian River <br />County Public Health Unit, it is determined and hereby declared <br />that a tax rate of One-half (1./2) mill upon the dollar be levied, <br />assessed and is hereby imposed upon all the property lying and <br />being in the County of Indian River, the proceeds of which when <br />collected shall be paid to the State Treasurer of the State of <br />Florida for the account of the State Board of Health of the State <br />of Florida to be expended by said State Board of Health as pro- <br />vided by Chapter 154, Florida Statutes. <br />
