RESOLUTION OF BOARD OF COUNTY C0L4dISSIONFRS OF TNI)TAN 1"TVI-RCOUNTY, FLORIDA On motion of Commissioner VIA RHl<N , seconded by Commissioner I1AN1 LTO N , the following Resolution was duly adopted: VIHEREAS, under the provisions of Chapter 24045, Laws of 1947, as amended, all money from registration of aircrafts is collected by the Motor Vehicle Commissioner; and VIHEREAS, the net proceeds from these moneys after a deduction for the necessary expenses of the Motor Vehicle Commission, is deposited to the credit of the Florida State Improvement Commission; and V1HEREAS, fifty (50%) per cent of the moneys collected by the counties is refundable to the counties; and VXEREAS, under the provisions of Section 18 of said Act, it is pro— vided that the funds paid to the counties may be expended for general pur— poses by said counties, but the counties may designate the Florida. State Improvement Commission as their Agent to expend said funds for aeronautical purposes within the county if the county so desires; and WIEREAS, in the judgment of this Board, and the Board does so determine that the Florida State Improvement Commission is in a better position to expend judiciously the county's share of th3 funds for aeronau— tical purposes in this county: N01I, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners Of 1 n d i n n P i v"r , County: That the county does hereby designate the Florida State Improvement Commission as the county's agent to expend all funds which may accrue to the County under the provisions of the Act as hereinabove mentioned for the calendar year (s) 1952 for aeronautical purposes within this county, and that the State Comptroller be, and he is hereby authorized, em— powered and directed to recognize the county's fifty (50%) per cent of such funds for the calendar year (a) 101-12.— — as moneys expendable by Florida State Improvement Commission as agent of this county.
