ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Acting Administrator Jim Davis requested the addition of <br />rescheduling the August 24 public hearing in Fellsmere regarding <br />the paving of Willow Street. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Adams, the Board unanimously added the <br />above item to the Agenda. <br />PROCLAMATION - RECOGNITION OF NATIONAL CLOWN WEEK <br />Chairman Macht read aloud the following proclamation and <br />presented it to Dorothy Crowe, "DODO"; Faye Metzler, "Jackie the <br />Clown", who was accompanied by Gary Metzler, "Wiggles" and his <br />guide dog "Radar". <br />PROCLAMATION <br />WHEREAS, clowns over _ the years have brought joy, <br />happiness and entertainment to young and old alike, and <br />WHEREAS, clowns provide relief from the sometimes <br />harsh realities of the world; and <br />WHEREAS, their benefit to society has long been <br />recognized; and <br />WHEREAS, there has been a long lineage of clowns <br />predating the famous clown Emmett Kelly right down to our own <br />local clown - Jackie and the Rainbow Circus Clowns: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, be it Proclaimed by the Board of <br />County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida that the <br />week of August 1-7, 1995 is hereby proclaimed NATIONAL <br />CLOWN WEEK in Indian River County. <br />APPROVED and ADOPTED on August 1, 1995. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RjVER COUNTY <br />By / <br />enneth R.
