RESOLUTION
<br />WHEREAS, the Board of Public Instruction of Indian River County,
<br />Florida, did, on the 10th day of November, 1955, adopt a Resolution:
<br />Requesting Approval by the State Superintendent of Public
<br />Instruction of the Proposal of the Boaz -d of Public Instruction
<br />of Indian River County, Florida, a Body corporate, for and
<br />on behalf of Special Tax School District No. 1, of said County,
<br />to issue Bonds in the amount of $1, 659, 000. 00, for the purpose
<br />of raising funds with which to construct new improvements and
<br />additions to the Public SC11001 Plants and Public School System
<br />of Indian River County, Florida, and to equip same,
<br />and,
<br />WHEREAS, the Board of Public Instruction of Indian River County,
<br />Florida, did, on the i5th day of November, 1955, by Resolution call a
<br />special election to be held in Special Tax School District No. 1, of Indian
<br />River County, Florida, on the 20th day of December, 1955, to vote on the
<br />question of:
<br />Shall Special Tax School District No. 1, of Indian River County,
<br />Florida, issue bonds in the aggregate principal amount of not
<br />exceeding $1, 659, 000. 00, bearing interest, payable semi-annually,
<br />at such rate or rates, not exceeding the legal rate, as shall be
<br />determined at the time of the sale thereof, and maturing, serially
<br />in annual installments over a period of not to exceed twenty years
<br />from the date of said bonds, for the purpose of financing the cost
<br />of acquiring, building, enlarging, furnishing or otherwise im-
<br />proving buildings or school grounds, as more specifically des-
<br />cribed and provided in the resolution of the Board of Public In-
<br />struction of Indian River County, Florida, adopted on the 10th dzjy
<br />of November, 1955,
