Upon Notion made by Commissioner Robert W. Graves, seconded by Coaminsioner <br />Macdonald and unanimously carried, the following Resolution was adopted: 7 <br />RESOLUTION -- Re: planning & 'Zoning Connnissiou Appointments <br />i WHEREAS, under the authority of Chapter 21310, laws of Florida, Acts of 1941, <br />the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, is authorized to establish <br />zoning in Indian River County, Florida; and, <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the powers conferred by said Act, thin Board has heretofore I <br />appointed a commission known as the 'Zoning Comminsion; and <br />WHEREAS, the to oris of office of said members have expired; Now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED by thu Board of. County Conttninsioner6 of Indian River County, <br />Florida, that this board does herewith appoint Alvin K. Fotney, Ii. W. Vickers, Dewey Reams, <br />J. S. Holmes and C. Alfred Briggs to be known as the 'Zoning Conmisrion of Indian River County, <br />Florida, and does herewith vest said 'Zoning Commission with all the powers, duties and <br />authorities set forth and prescribed in said Act for the term of four years beginning February ) <br />5, 1957, and ending on February 5, 1.961, and until their successors are appointed and qualified. <br />
