RESOLUTION <br />WHEREAS, it has recently come to the attention of the Board of <br />County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that Central and <br />Southern Florida Flood Control District has purchased and is now the owner <br />I <br />of property in Indian River County, Florida, described as follows, to -wit: <br />Lot N, Township 31, and Lot K, Township 32, all <br />In Range 36, according to the plat of lands of the <br />Fellsmere Farms Company; <br />which said lands in fact constitute Blue Cypress Lake, sometimes called <br />Lake Wilmington; and, <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County owns a park site for the benefit <br />of the general public bordering upon said lake; Now, therefore, <br />BE 17' RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of <br />i <br />Indian River County, Florida, that this County does herewith respectfully <br />petition and request Central and Southern Florida Flood Control District to <br />declare said property and said lake as a public body of water to be regulated <br />,i <br />and controlled by Central and Southern Florida Flood Control District; and, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Board recommends to <br />said Central and Southern Florida Flood Control District that among its <br />regulations there he included prohibiting the construction of houses. camps <br />or other similar structures in said waters and that no person be permitted <br />to make any exclusive use of the said lands or said lake to the exclusion of <br />the general public. <br />STATE OF FLORIDA <br />COUNTY OF INDIAN RIVER <br />I, Douglas Baker, as Clerk of the Circuit Court and ex -officio <br />Clerk to the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, <br />certify the foregoing to be a true copy of Resolution duly adopted by said <br />at a meeting thereof duly and regularly called and held on the J <br />day of Pe 1957. <br />WITNESS my hand and official seal at Vero Beach, Florida, this <br />gV-_ day of !9a"g,, , 1957. , <br />ug as a ey,er rcu t ours, Indian <br />River County`, Florida, and ex -officio Clerk <br />to Board of County Commissioners. <br />MITCHELL, SMITH Q MITCHELL, ATTORNEYS AT LAW, VERO DEACH, FLORIDA <br />
