RESOLUTION <br />. i <br />WHEREAS, the County Auditor, after tentatively ascertaining <br />-i the proposed fiscal policies of the Board of County Commissioners of Indian i <br />River County, Florida, for the fiscal year cimmencing on the lot day of <br />October, 1958, and ending on the 30th day of September, 1959, did prepare <br />and present to the Board of County Commissioners a tentative budget for said <br />I! fiscal year for each of the funds therein as provided by law, Including all <br />II estimated receipts, taxes to be levied and balances expected to be brought <br />Ii forth and all estimated expenditures, reserves and balances to be carried <br />over at the end of the year; and, <br />WHEREAS, this Board did receive and examine said tentative <br />budget for each fund and did require such changes to be made as the Board did <br />deem necessary and the auditor's estimate of receipts other than taxes and of <br />balances to be brought forward not having been revised, this Board did pre- <br />pare a statement summarizing all of the tentative budgets showing for each <br />budget In the total of all budgets the proposed tax millages, the balances, the <br />reserves and the total of each major classification of receipts and expenditures <br />classified according to the classification of accounts prescribed by the Comp- <br />troller of the State of Florida; and, <br />WHEREAS, this Board did cause said summary statement to be <br />advertised one time in a newspaper of general circulation published in Indian <br />River County, Florida, to -wit: In the issue of July 22, 1958, of the Vero <br />Beach Press Journal, as will more fully appear by proof of publication thereof <br />filed in the minutes of this Board; and, <br />WHEREAS, this Board did meet at the time and place stated in <br />said advertisement for the purpose of hearing requests and complaints from <br />the public regarding the budgets and for the purpose of holding a public hearing <br />and making whatever revisions in the budget it may deem necessary; Now, <br />therefore, <br />MITCHELL, SMITH & MITCHELL, ATTORNEYS AT LAW, VERO BEACH.
