The program is a collaborative program between Hibiscus <br />Children's Center and Behavior Basics providing parents weekly home visits. Services will be <br />offered to the participants in the family home at hours/days that are convenient with the family's <br />schedule, evening and weekend appointments will be available. <br />SafeCare has a scientific rating of 2 according to The California Evidence -based Clearinghouse <br />for Child Welfare. This means it is supported by research evidence. SafeCare has been shown to <br />be effective for families struggling with substance use, intimate partner violence, and depression <br />- all factors that increase the risk of child abuse and neglect. It also has a "High" rating for Child <br />Welfare Relevance frorn The California Evidence -based Clearinghouse for Child Welfare which <br />means the program was designed, or is commonly used, to meet the needs of children, youth, <br />young adults, and/or families receiving child welfare services. <br />The projected number of unduplicated children to be served is one hundred (100); and forty-five <br />(45) adults. <br />
