6. That the holder of such a pert -nit shall file a writtenâ–º accept- <br />ance of the terms hereof within 30 days from the granting of such permit, <br />stating that it will comply with the conditions thereof and such permit shall <br />not become effective until the receipt by the County Engineer of such written <br />acceptance and if such written acceptance is not so received within the time <br />provided, then the permit shall become null and void and of no legal effect. <br />7. No assignment, transfer or pledge by the holder of the permit <br />of the rights granted in the permit to any mortgagee or mortgage trustee <br />shall obligate such mortgagee or mortgage trustee to perform the obligations <br />of such permit unless and until the mortgagee or mortgage trustee shall <br />become the owner and holder of such permit but'the holder of the permit <br />shall remain obligated to perform the terms and conditions thereof, <br />8. Should the applicant for any such permit be any person, firm <br />or corporation other than a public utility regulated and supervised by the <br />Florida Railroad and Public Utilities Commission, then the County Engineer <br />may, In his discretion, require the posting of a bond in such amount as he <br />shall deem sufficient, conditioned upon the applicant promptly and faithfully <br />complying with all of the terms and conditions of said permit and if such <br />bond is so required, the permit shall not be valid until the bond has been <br />delivered to and approved by the County Engineer. Any such bond shall be <br />payable to Indian River County, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, <br />acting by and through its Board of County Commissioners. <br />
